We are thinking about adding on to our house. We live in Waterford sub-division and have the ability to add on with permission from the committee. We have a single level home right and want to add a second story over the back half of the house and maybe extend the back wall of the house. The reason we want to go up is the limited size of our back yard. In this space I would need a Great Room, and Master bedroom w/ a full bath. On the main level we may chose to redo the kitchen area as well...?

I have plans and permits to add a two-story 18 x 26 ft addition to the back of my home. A small bathroom addition will be replaced with the new structure so plumbing is already accessible. I am looking for estimates to get the project to the 'weathered-in' stage (ie foundation, framing, siding, roof, windows & doors etc. I will do the insulating, drywall, flooring, fixtures and finish work myself.

I need to put an addition on my home for a disabled bath with wheelchair accessible shower. My home is slab-on-grade with concrete block walls and a gabled roof. Lot is flat. I will be cutting out an existing 3 ft wide window (and the block beneath) to form a doorway to the addition. The addition will be a 9 ft x 9 ft. room, with roll-in shower for a wheelchair, an ADA toilet, and sink. The 4" sewer line runs parallel beside the future add (3 ft away), and the electric panel will be 4 ft away on the existing structure. Eight foot walls will be painted block, roof will be slightly pitched "shed" style with built-up roof coming off the eaves of the existing. Drywall on interior with tile on floor.

We are looking to add 12 feet to the back of our home expanding kitchen, master suite w/another bath, another bedroom, office, pantry/storage room, libraryw/fireplace and finish the brick on a basement rancher that has masonite on upper levels of 3 sides. Flooring experts already hired for finishing floors. Anticipate to begin remodeling in spring.
